Imagining a big launch with comic is certainly surprising. Google has just announced the launch of it’s new chrome browser with new interface and ground breaking benchmark of JavaScript performance. Browser components are not that new except the JavaScript engine V8 which is claimed to be fastest among others will give users to experience more interactive & speed specifically on AJAX applications.

While AJAX application being popular in web 2.0 era, we certainly can guess it will share major browser market soon. Users are using IE, FireFox, Safari with percentage of their markets being 75, 20 & 5 respectively. Chrome browser may overtake some percentage of the IE, Firefox & Safari market.

Developer should thank Google for using the WebKit, an open source rendering engine which avoids them to learn new engine and try to fix error on the existing sites.
